Update on Mishka (formerly known as Chanel)

IMG_3225
Thank you very much! Mishka (formerly Chanel) is doing wonderfully at home! She’s very bright and sweet and I’ve become attached to her so quickly. She’s growing fast too! She’s very well behaved for a puppy. We’re quite pleased with Coming Home and thank you all for providing us such a wonderful addition to our family.
Thank you again,
Bianca

Update on Leonard Now Known as Kai

blog Kai

Leonard a year ago

I wanted to email you and say thank you again for choosing me to adopt Kai who was known as Leonard in your listing about a year ago. Time flies when you’re having fun! He’s up to 35 pounds and makes me laugh every day. His personality is protective yet loving and I couldn’t ask for a better fit for me! Kai and I starting hiking occasionally over the past couple weeks and he couldn’t be happier. Since moving back to the Adirondack area, he has loved the open space and chance to explore. Hiking is the perfect fit for his curious and active nature! He seems to sense when we are getting ready to go out for some playtime and gets incredibly excited. We added another pup to our little family and he has a little sister now named Khaleesi (Leesi for short!). They get along better than I could’ve ever asked and he seems to have taken on the big brother role perfectly. He’s incredibly smart and enjoys playing ball. I’ve attached a picture of him from today during our 7 mile hike in the Adirondacks and the pic you posted in which I first fell in love! I’m incredibly lucky. He’s been a blessing and I wanted to reach out to you to say thank you again for allowing me to adopt him and have him in my life!

Sincerely, Emily

Cherie is Looking for her Forever Home

CherieOh Cherie. She is the cutest little thing and at just six-months-old, she is all puppy! She loves romping around, playing with her foster brother and toys and chewing on everything. If you’re willing to put in the time to wait for those big dog teeth to come in and teach her all the amazing things she can learn, we think she is going to be one fabulous find of a furry one. She has learned to sit and is currently working on going outside to do her business. Cherie is a hound mix that is about 15-18 lbs. and won’t get very big. She has a pretty tan coat accented by a black muzzle. And the word from her foster mom is that at the end of the day, she likes to fall asleep at the feet of her foster dad. She is also happy to sleep through the night in her crate. Cherie is spayed, up-to-date on her shots and will be microchipped before adoption. Fill out an application online or call 1-888-405-7221 or email info@cominghomerescue.org to schedule a meet and greet.
Check out Cherie’s You Tube video!
