ENTRY #2

Entry TwoEntry #2 also came with a story…

We bought a chair at an estate sale. The owner could not take the chair due to housing concerns. We believe the chair is part Chippendale, part arts & crafts and part Shaker. We decided to foster this chair. We gave it a good grooming and made it a comfortable cushion (note: this is the first time we’ve sewn anything). We used the CHR stencils to jazz it up. The chair would fit in any household but it can’t be left outside!

We would like to donate this chair to CHR and hopefully it can find its furever home!

We had so much fun remaking and fostering this chair! The chair’s name is Blue!

GAME ON! Join in the fun and show us your creative side!

Getting Ready For Our 2nd Annual Tricky Tray

SAVE THE DATE! Our Second Annual Tricky Tray is May 1, 2105.

Our volunteers are busy contacting businesses from near and far to gather donated items for amazing baskets.tricky tray basket

Here’s how YOU can help! We are looking for those new (unwanted) gifts you may have received this holiday season. Rather than let them gather dust, donate them to us so we can build even more baskets! Household items, DVDs, children’s items, wine, kitchen accessories–we could use them all! Even the smallest stocking stuffer can be part of a a bigger, beautiful basket. We will take anything that is new, unused, still in the box type items. Also we could use gift cards and cash to help purchase desirable items is needed. Lastly, we really need empty baskets to fill – the bigger the better!!

Contact us at 1-888-405-7221 or email us at  info@cominghomerescue.org to schedule a drop off or pick up of your item.
