‘Nuff said.

Snow is Looking for Her Forever Home

Snow is a stunning four-year-old American Bulldog/Box mix. She absolutely adores people and will lean in to you for more snuggling. She doesn’t show much interest in toys or rawhide (but that could always change later). Snow’s super smart and already knows how to walk right by your side on a leash. Additionally, she’s a lady at her food bowl and will gently take treats from your hand. If you’re looking for a second dog, Snow is great with other dogs. Snow is spayed, up-to-date on her shots and will be microchipped. Fill out an application online or call 1-888-405-7221 or email to schedule a meet and greet.

Ayla Has Been Adopted

Can we get a big ole HOLLA for AYLA who, after waiting four long years with us, finally found her forever dad.

Ayla and her dad

Look at the smile on her face!

There wasn’t a dry eye among all the Coming Home Rescue volunteers when she went to her fur-ever home. We knew the right person was out there for her….he just hadn’t found her yet.

So here’s an update from her Dad:

She is taking daily walks and eating well to keep up her strength. He comes home to let her out at lunchtime, and when bedtime comes, she’s snuggles right up to him in bed (and stays there)! [We always said she was an excellent snuggler].

He says she’s a great dog who now knows where she lives, and can start barking when people come around to her house. She loves meeting new people and some, but not all,  dogs. He is watching her body language to see which new dogs are able to approach and which ones need to keep walking. [This is FANTASTIC! And a good method for any dog].

Seems like Ayla (Now called Matilda, or “Mattie” for short ) has found her forever home …

Getting Ready For Our 2nd Annual Tricky Tray

SAVE THE DATE! Our Second Annual Tricky Tray is May 1, 2105.

Our volunteers are busy contacting businesses from near and far to gather donated items for amazing baskets.tricky tray basket

Here’s how YOU can help! We are looking for those new (unwanted) gifts you may have received this holiday season. Rather than let them gather dust, donate them to us so we can build even more baskets! Household items, DVDs, children’s items, wine, kitchen accessories–we could use them all! Even the smallest stocking stuffer can be part of a a bigger, beautiful basket. We will take anything that is new, unused, still in the box type items. Also we could use gift cards and cash to help purchase desirable items is needed. Lastly, we really need empty baskets to fill – the bigger the better!!

Contact us at 1-888-405-7221 or email us at to schedule a drop off or pick up of your item.
