Wishing you and your families a very Merry Christmas. We’re thankful for all the pups that were adopted in 2014 that they are enjoying a warm, loving holiday at home. Here’s to rescuing more lives and finding homes for more dogs in 2015!
Wishing you a lovely weekend full of toys, cookies and snuggling.
May visions of sugar plums dance in your head…
The greatest gift you can give is the gift of time.
Want to do something good for soul? Then, give yourself the gift of volunteering. When you share your time and talents with others (human or furry), you make the world a better place.
If you live near the Rockaway, NJ area, we’d love for you to join our group of amazing volunteers. If you don’t live near us, consider volunteering for the local rescue in your area. Whether it’s an hour a day or an hour a month, or just a few times a year, many hands make light work.
And it really does take a village to get a dog adopted.
Melanie is looking for her forever home but in the meantime you could foster her.
Want to help a homeless pet this holiday, but not sure how? We’ve come up with a few creative suggestions for you that would help out a great deal:
*Give a Home For The Holidays!
The holidays are the toughest time for our dogs. Fosters are hard to find and boarding facilities are full. If you can host a homeless pet for just a week, it is a lifesaver. The love you get in return will be worth it!
* A Day To Play Or A Spa Day!
Your donation of $50 will provide several days of doggie daycare or a bath with a groomer.
* Holiday Meal
All it takes is a $25 Petsmart gift card and we can make sure 5 dogs have a great dinner.
* A New Leash On Life!
We are always in need of collars of all sizes.
You can send your donation to Coming Home Rescue, PO Box 405, Rockaway NJ 07866. Please specify “Spa Day” or “Holiday Meal” in the memo section.
Happy first day of winter! Raisen and his brothers know we are just five days away from Christmas. What do you hope Santa will bring you?
